PKK denies involvement in Istanbul blast

Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has denied involvement in a suicide bombing in Istanbul that killed 32 people, CNN reports.

The party said the cease-fire it declared last month, which is slated to expire September 20, "is still continuing."

Earlier the group's de facto leader, Murat Karayilan, warned in an interview with The Independent at his mountain hideout that the group would not extend the ceasefire, if the Turkish government continued military operations against it.
