7 Armenian athletes to take part in Sambo World Championship

Seven Armenian athletes will participate in the Sambo World Championship to be held from November 4-8 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
According to local Armenian sports news website, Ruzanna Sargsyan (48kg) will take part in women’s tournament.

Tigran Kirakosyan (52kg), Vahan Vardanyan (57kg), Vahram Grigoryan (62kg), Vachik Vardanyan (68kg), Ashot Danielyan (74kg) and Artak Tsatinyan (90kg) will take part in man’s tournament.

The Armenian delegation will leave for Tashkent on November 2.

Coach Ernest Mirzoyan, referee Eduard Aslanyan and Levon Hayrapetyan, President of Sambo Federation of Armenia, are in the delegation.
