Armenian-Canadian community to play a key role in strengthening bilateral ties

Newly appointed Canadian Ambassador to Armenia John Clayburn Sloan submitted his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday.

Congratulating the diplomat on his new appointment, President Sargsyan wished him further success.

Both parties emphasized the importance of using the full potential of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic, cultural, local government and other sectors.

They also stressed the role of Armenian-Canadian community in strengthening the relationship between the two states.

The Ambassador expressed satisfaction with effective bilateral cooperation within different international organizations, particularly United Nations and OSCE. He promised to do his best for further strengthening and development of Armenian-Canadian ties.
