Levon Shirinyan is skeptical of Turkey's removal of Armenia from its 'Red Book'

The rumors that Turkey has removed Armenia’s name from its military doctrine may be disinformation, Doctor of Political Sciences Levon Shirinyan believes.

“If we study the political processes in different states, we’ll see that such documents are very changeable. I don’t think Turkey can remove Armenia from the list even if it wishes so, because it’s a country which built its present-day republic and top political leadership through pillaging Armenians,” he noted.

Mr Shirinyan didn’t, however, rule out the possibility of Turks organizing a political campaign, such as disseminating the necessary information.

“Those who disseminate the information have seen the document. And if they have seen it, it begs the question: where from?” the expert asked, expressing his skepticism about the information.
