Photo contest on “Violence against Women”

Within the frameworks of “Combating Gender-based Violence in South Caucasus” (CGBV) project, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is launching a photo contest on “Violence against Women.”

Professional photographers, as well as individuals interested in photo art are welcome to participate in the contest, the UN House in Armenia reports.

Each participant is allowed to submit up to 3 photos.

Combating “Gender-based Violence in South Caucasus” is a three-year project implemented upon the initiative of the United Nations Population Fund. The funding is provided by the Foreign Ministry of Norway Kingdom.

The project is aimed at eliminating gender-based violence in Armenia through the protection of women’s fundamental rights and freedoms and the promotion of gender equality and women’s participation in decision-making processes.
