Ukrainian female activists attack Iran's embassy in Kiev

Activists of the Ukrainian women's political organization FEMEN protest in front of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kiev, Cihan news agency report.

The protest is aimed at drawing attention to the case of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for alleged adultery and participation in her husband’s killing.

Iran said on Wednesday that the woman sentenced to death by stoning is in perfect health and that her case is still being reviewed, amid fears her execution was imminent.
