FIFA president ranks among world’s most powerful men

President of International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) John Blatter ranks as world’s 65th most powerful man, according Forbes magazine’s recent rating.

"FIFA is like the United Nations, but it has more members and is more powerful. Spends time fending off corruption charges, gearing up for 2010 World Cup in South Africa; only event more popular than Olympics. So long as matches keep drawing crowds and big and spending, 2011 reelection in the bag,” says the magazine.

The Forbes list includes the names of state leaders, religious figures, businessmen and last but not the least, criminals.
