Yerevan-New York flight to last 1 hour?

The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is launching a new passenger aircraft - Hypersonic – that will travel at 7 times higher sound speed flying over a 8643 km area within an hour, according to Daily Mail.

Thanks to the new jet, flights from Yerevan to New York will be reduced from 11 hours and 43 minutes to just 1 hour.

The new aircraft, due to be projected within 3 years, will reach an altitude of up to 20 km, NASA specialists say.
