Minister of Education to meet officials in Strasburg

A delegation led by the Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan is in Strasburg on November 7-10 to attend a conference titled Academic Freedom and Institutional Autonomy: the Role of Public Authorities.

The minister is scheduled to deliver a speech during the event.

Mr Ashotyan will also meet with Council of Europe’s Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland, as well as visit Armenia’s Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe.

During the working visit, the minister-led delegation will have a meeting with Head of the PACE Committee on Culture, Science and Education Mr Gvozden Flego.

Mr Ashotyan will also visit the Strasbourg Higher National School of Architecture to meet Architectural Consulting, Urban Development and Environmental Department’s top leadership, particularly Jean Marc Beer, and Head of the higher school Philip Bash.
