Levon Ter-Petrosyan calls on opposition to be more decisive

Four young activists of opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) arrested earlier during a rally have been released, HAK leader and former Armenian President Levon-Petrosyan said at a rally held near Matenadaran in downtown Yerevan.

“Everything depends on you. Should you increase your decisiveness, the remaining 12 [political prisoners] will by the end of the year be released too,” said he.

“Besides fighting against despotism, we have also to fight against, I would say, the criminal indifference of international human rights organizations,” said he.

According to him, that makes things far more difficult for opposition, but that does not mean it should weaken its struggle.
