Armenian artist's Italian sculptures showcased in Yerevan residents

Renowned Armenian sculpture David Minasyan's exhibition kicked off at the National State Theatre in Yerevan late evening on Monday.

Titled Italian Episodes the exhibit marked the beginning of Contemporary Italian Week in Yerevan.

In his sculptures, David Minasyan depicts outstanding representatives of the Italian art, such as Modigliani, Pavarotti, and Chelentano.

Another piece of interest is the well-known Italian spaghetti.

Launched on Monday, November 8, the Week of Italian Films will last till November 13. The 6 films selected for screening feature the contemporary Italian society and its problems.

Before being screened, the films will be interpreted.
