HAK appoints a meeting on Liberty Square

Coordinator of opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Levon Zurabyan is submitting a notice to the Mayor's Office on Friday with a proposal to inform the opposition about the days that will not cause any problem to hold public events, like demonstrations, rallies and marches.

The activists particularly referred to the law on "Conducting Meetings, Assemblies, Rallies and Demonstrations, saying that its provision on proposing organizers venues and dates for the meeting has always been violated.

At that, he noted that the opposition has been rejected 32 times recently and appealed to court several times.

"This time, we are appointing a meeting on Azatutyun (Liberty) Square," Levon Zurabyan said.
