Levon Ter-Petrosyan becomes Azerbaijan's speaker, Republican Party's Vice-Chair says

Armenia's first president makes statements on behalf of Azerbaijan, according to Vice Chair of the Repuclican Party of Armenia (HHK) Razmik Zohrabyan.

"Levon Ter-Petrosyan has become Azerbaijan's speaker," he told journalists on Friday.

At that, he noted that Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian statements are reiterated by the ex-president in Armenia.

The parliamentarian also criticized Mr Ter-Petrosyan's recent statement characterizing Armenian national hero Garegin Nzhdeh's ideology as what he called "racism."

"Before labeling such ideology as racism, it is first of all necessary to remember about its significance," he said.
