Winner will be the political power that will falsify votes: Arman Melikyan

There have been no domestic policy re-arrangements in Armenia, according to ex-Foreign Minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan.

During a debate with Republican Party (HHK) MP Hamlet Harutyunyan, the Mr Melikyan stressed today that the current situation results from polarization of society that emerged after presidential elections, whereas no one actually believes in either the authorities or the opposition.

"Since the internal political situation remains unchanged, the upcoming elections are sure to be falsified, with the winner being the political power managing to falsify the election outcomes," he said, adding that he authorities will do their best after the elections to reduce street clashes to a minimum.

Disagreeing with the above-mentioned viewpoint, Hamlet Harutyunyan said there is absolutely no polarization in Armenia.

With regard to the outcome of parliamentary elections, the MP particularly mentioned: "I am not a fortune-teller and refrain from such practices as this is something for talented people. I can't say anything as to the number of votes for each political power," he said.
