Armenian Deputy Premier to attend CIS Economic Council's 48th session

Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, who is also member of CIS Economic Council, has left for St Petersburg, Russia, to take part in the activities of CIS Economic Council's 48th session.

The agenda includes several issues, such as the framework program on CIS countries' cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear power and a project aimed at establishing a body promoting branch cooperation in consumer protection sphere.

Participants will also discuss the activities of heads of tax service coordinating councils, protection of private ownership in CIS countries, legal protection issues etc.

On November 19, Mr Gevorgyan will join a delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to attend sessions of the council of CIS Government leaders and Eurasian Economic Cooperation (EurAsEc).
