Armenians will return to homeland, if favorable conditions are created: Tigran Keosayan

If Armenia creates favorable conditions in the country, most of the Diasporan Armenians will return to their homeland, Armenian film director Tigran Keosayan told journalists in Moscow, speaking about the annual telethon held by Hayastan All Armenian Fund.

"Any idea of unification is good for such a split nation as Armenians are," said Mr Keosayan, adding that what matters is how the collected financial means are spent, Tert.am's correspondent reports from Moscow.

Further he Mr Keosayan said that anything serving the idea of Armenia's renaissance would be necessary.

"Let's be honest! Roughly said, Armenia is not yet reborn at all. I remember Armenia with 4 million of population. If my memory isn't betraying me, everything is now different. So, it is necessary to create conditions to create [new] jobs so that people will not work in Russia, Ukraine but rather in Armenia," said Mr Keosayan.
