No serious expectations from Astana summit- Manoyan

At this stage - ahead of the Astana summit – make statements in a rather war context, Giro Manoyan, the director of the ARF Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Office, told a news conference today.

"Azeris say there might be a positive expectation, there could be a road map," Manoyan said. "Armenia, after the talks with Russia, speaks of expectations. But I think that there are no real grounds for a progress in Astana because Azerbaijan vigorously rejects any possibility of Karabakh being out of Azerbaijan."

He added a serious progress in the conflict settlement is possible only if Azerbaijan accepts that Karabakh could be outside Azerbaijan.

"I think Azerbaijan is engaged in mere propaganda when speaking of progress," he added.
