Armenian soldiers will make free mobile phone calls to relatives

Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan has signed a decree that regulates the rules for soldiers to use mobile phones in the army.

According to a release by the Defense Ministry, from now on Armenian temporary soldier can at specific hours during the day make phone calls to their relatives.

Based on a contract signed between the Defense Ministry and VivaCell MTS those phone numbers for soldier will have access to specific tariff plans which means that it is the receiver of the call that will be charged upon prior notification.
