Armenian group conducts inspection at Turkish military base

An inspection group of the Armenian Defense Ministry arrived in Turkey on November 22 to carry out an inspection at a military unit in the town of Beyazit under the Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe (TCF). The team will check the compliance with the TCF-imposed limits of ammunition and military hardware.

This is a second visit by the Armenian inspection group to Turkey. The first was conducted in March 2010, in military units based in Sarikamish, Kars, Ardahan and Igdir. No facts contradicting with the Vienna document have been revealed.
