Armenian weightlifter wins bronze medal

In the U-23 European Weightlifting Championship held in Limassol, Cyprus, Armenian sportsman Aghvan Melikyan (wc 94 kg) won a bronze medal, demonstrating a 376 kg result, Armenian sport website Armsport.am reported.

Moldova's Anatoly Siriku won the champion's title, lifting a 379kg weight.

Norayr Vardanyan won the 5th place, with a 361 kg result.
