US still spares Armenia's authorities: Armen Martirosyan

The unveling of the secret documents allegedly belonging to the US State Department by WikiLeaks is a smart step, the head of Heritage party's faction in parliament, Armen Martirosyan, told a press conference today.

"That will have its impact on the world and will prompt interesting processes," said he, adding that he.

Martirosyan noted that he is more interested in those documents that have not been published yet.

"The ones that, I think, are very up-to-date," said he, adding that the initiators of the leak do not yet exert public pressure on Armenia.

"May be they still have some expectations from Armenia's authorities, and there is no need to use the mechanism of public pressure," explained he.

According to Martirosyan, the leak of those documents makes such states like Azerbaijan - that are an impediment to the US foreign policy - behave more calmly.
