Armenian president to visit Slovenia in 2011

On the sidelines of the OSCE's 7th Summit held in Astana, Kzakhstan, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with his Slovenian counterpart Danilo Turk.

The two presidents discussed issues concerning the development of bilateral ties, as well as cooperation on the regional level and within international organizations.

Recalling his official visit to Armenia in October, the Slovenian leader said it is to promote active ties between the two countries, enabling Armenian and Slovenian governments to sign bilateral cooperation agreements in several spheres.

He also invited his Armenian counterpart to Slovenia in 2011.

President Sargsyan is scheduled to have other bilateral meetings in Astana.
