Danil Khachaturov may leave top management of Rosgosstrakh

President of the Russian insurance giant Rosgosstrakh, Danil Khachaturov, may leave the company's top management.

At a press conference in Yerevan today, Khachaturov, who is of Armenian descent, said he has not yet decided when he will leave, if ever. Even if he makes a final decision, he will not, however, sell his part of the shares in the company, Khachaturov said.

"Initially the company was not established to be sold," said he, adding that Rosgosstrakh has good perspectives for development.

Danil and Sergey Khachaturov brothers now own all the shares of Rosgosstrakh after the Russian state sold in September 2010 its 13.1% package of shares in Rosgosstrakh to RGS Activi – a company owned by the Khachaturov brothers.

What he will do after leaving the company's top management, Khachaturov has not decided either.

Further, he said Rosgostrakh is planning to hold solemn celebration on the occasion of the company's 90th anniversary. The celebration will take place at the Moscow-based complex Luzhniki.

"We are quite a large company, and even Luzhniki will not be able to host all of our colleagues and invitees," said he.
