Head of Naregatsi Art Center awarded with prime minister's medal

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with disabilities, Aram Khachatryan concert hall hosted Friday a concert entitled "Let's Join for Equal Rights".

The concert was dedicated to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which was ratified by Armenia on September 22, 2010.

For providing significant assistance to individuals with disabilities in the towns of Yerevan and Shushi (Nagorno Karabakh Republic), the founding chairman of Naregatsi art center, Narek Harutyunyan, was awarded with the prime ministers memory medal.

"Naregatsi" art center creates necessary conditions enabling free movement of individuals with disabilities. One of the center's mission is to create equal conditions for all, thus contributing to such people's full integration to society.
