Elina Danielyan loses first round, leaves championship

The Women's World Chess Championship has kicked off in Turkey. In the very first round of this knock-out tournament, Armenia suffered a loss. Beaten 2:0 by Russia's Tatyana Shadrina, Armenia's Elina Danielyan lost her chances to stay in the championship.
Another Armenian player, Lilit Mkrtchyn, played 1:1 with Zhang Xiaowen.

The female sportsmen enjoying a high rating have held a convincing victory, qualifying for the second round.
