No Armenian nationals among those killed in Turkey bus accident, says Foreign Ministry

Armenia's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Tigran Balayan confirmed the reports about a bus accident in Turkey.

Speaking to Tert.am, he, however, refuted the reports that Armenian nationals were among those killed.

"Fortunately, there are no Armenian citizens among those killed," said he, adding that Armenia has no information about where the bus was heading and who the passengers were.

Earlier, several Tert.am readers said that the bus accident in Turkey had left more than 20 passengers wounded and 6 to 9 others dead, among them also Armenian nationals.

They also said that the bus was allegedly carrying Armenian passengers to Istanbul and turned over on December 5.
