Bus accident leaves Armenian passengers 'dead' in Turkey

A bus accident in Turkey has reportedly left more than 20 passengers wounded and from 6-9 dead, among them also Armenian nationals.

The bus was allegedly carrying Armenian passengers to Istanbul and turned over on December 5.

The Spokesperson for Armenia's Foreign Ministry, Tigran Balayan, told Tert.am that the ministry is currently receiving alarm calls over the accident.

He also said that the information they have is contradictory, but he did not elaborate as to what the contradiction refers to.

"The information is contradictory. Currently there are such alarm calls," said he, adding that they are trying to check up on those reports.

Balayan, further, said that the ministry will provide verified information a little later.
