Raffi Hovhannisian: It would be more appropriate if there was a legal action

At a news conference today, Heritage party leader Raffi Hvhannisian spoke about the resignation of the Yerevan mayor and dismissal of the justice minister, saying he welcomed Serzh Sargsyan's decisions.

"However, it would be more appropriate if there was a legal action, and the guilt be determined by a court," Hovhannisian said.
He said the practice should be use any time when human rights are violated by an official.

"Many people get assaulted by government members, but because the victim is not an official, or of them, the issue never becomes a subject of news conferences or court session," Hovhannisian said. "If this is an incentive for a future work style, then it is good."
