Armenian international airport carries out more flights in 2011

In January-November 2010, Zvartnots International Armenian airport carried out 8,950 flights, compared to last year's 7,905, the General Department of Civil Aviation said.

In the same period, 717,004 arrived in Armenia, and some 761,944 left the country.

Overall, 7, 759 tons of cargo has been transported.

Over the past months, the flights in Gyumri's Shirak airport increased to 243 (instead of last year's 172), with 21,645 passengers arriving in and 25,111 departing from Armenia.
