Zhamanak: Special Investigative Service files case against former mayor

The paper says it has learnt from 'well-informed sources' that the Special Investigative Service has filed a case against former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan under Articles 118 and 131 (battery and kidnapping) of the Armenian Criminal Code.

The case was launched based on media reports. The victim – Aram Kandayan – refuses to give any testimony on the incident.
