Pro-opposition activist protests for release of Pashinyan

Pro-opposition activist Vardges Gaspari today started a protest outside the Department of Penitentiary building, with posters reading "Keep your bloody hands off Nikol," "Shame on you" and other.

Gaspari told Tert.am that he is calling for the release of political prisoner Nikol Pashinyan, the editor-in-chief of the Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

"My protest is against the gang regime. The Department of Penitentiary is led by gang rules," Gaspari said.
