Turks blackmail US over Armenian Genocide resolution

The Federation of Turkish Unions in United States (TADF) and the Assembly of Turkish American Associations have sent a letter to US Congress on behalf of 250 Turkish organizations, warning the US House that the possible passage of the Armenian Genocide Resolution may deprive the country of its reputation in the region.

In their letter to the House of Representatives, TADF President Kaya Boztepe and AATA President Gunay Lynch say that the adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution is aimed at condemning Turkey and the Muslim world, the Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.

The authors of the letter further note that genocide is an issue to be discussed by historians vs. politicians.
