Ruling coalition will approve amended law on language – Galust Sahakyan
The ruling coalition will vote for the amendments to the law on language, says Galust Sahakyan, the head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction in parliament.
"I don't see any threat there," he told Tuesday an extraordinary parliamentary session, adding that the proposed amendments aim simply to integrate Armenia's educational sector to the international educational system.
Addressing the minister of education and science, Armen Ashotyan, Sahakyan expressed hope that the discussion will be crowned with success, otherwise, he said, the coalition will be forced to invite a psychiatrist.
" I have to disagree with you and say that we don't need any psychiatrist here. I think a psychologist will be enough," the minister answered.
