Football Federation to promote development of football in Artsakh

Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) is willing to promote the development of football in Armenia, FFA president Ruben Hayrapetyan said during a recent charity visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

"FFA has been assisting the Football Federation of Artsakh for two years, since Samvel Karapetyan became the federation president. We have started the construction of three stadiums in Stepanakert. The fourth is to be built in Shushi," Armenian sport website ArmSport.am quoted Hayrapetyan as saying.

Asked why none of the teams in Artsakh participates in championships, Karapetyan said: "We already have relevant conditions for creating a good team. Our federations have been collaborating for several years now and I hope we'll accomplish our goals."
