Terrorist act in Iraq leaves 17 dead
A double act of terror in the city of Ar-Ramadi, in the west of Iraq, on Monday claimed at least 17 lives, with some 50 other people reported injured, Voice of Moscow reported.
Both explosions resounded outside the government building in the city centre. Ar-Ramadi is 100 kilometres away from the capital city Baghdad.
According to the local authorities, the blasts were set off by suicide bombers, of whom one blew up a bus, while the other set off his explosive belt.
