Cabinet adopts measures to improve business environment in Armenia
Meeting in a session on Thursday, the cabinet passed two decisions aimed at improving the business environment in Armenia.
One of the decisions establishes procedures for registering accounts electronically, relieving enterprises of the burden to maintain a delivery register.
The cabinet also decided to introduce an electronic system of certification, which will essentially reduce the time and money spent on certification procedures.
In his speech, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan characterized the new decisions as a New Year present for exporters.
"We need to maintain such achievement of our export which fixed a 41% growth in 2010," he said.
