Premier scolds Heritage party members for discouraging citizens to insure cars
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan expressed his indignation with all those who warn people against insuring their cars. He particularly addressed Heritage party which had organized a protest against the mandatory car insurance law.
"They criticize and fling mud at an international expert after he comes here to explain what's what. Can all those encouraging people not to insure their cars compensate possible damages. Is Heritage ready to shoulder such responsibility?" he asked.
The premier also requested newly appointed Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan to provide the public with detailed information on any disputable issue. Gabrielyan said the Central Bank will introduce thorough information later today.
