Serzh Sargsyan extends condolences to Iranian president

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a condolence letter to the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on the occcasion of the recent plane crash in Iran.

Below is the text of the letter posted on the president's webiste:

"Excellency,

I was very saddened by the news of the plane crash in Iran which resulted in numerous casualties and loss of human lives.

I send my deepest condolences to You, families of the victims and the people of friendly Iran and wish patience, endurance and strength, and I also wish speedy recovery to the injured.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
