Tert.am now available in Western Armenian

Tert.am news website is launching a new section in the Western Armenian language, thus becoming the first media outlet in Armenia making its news available for all Armenians worldwide. The initiative was taken considering our Diaspora compatriots' need to receive information in their native tongue.

Founded about three years ago, Tert.am introduced the multi-profile online media format in Armenia, becoming an innovator in the field. It was the first one to launch a four-language news website. Later the mobile version came into use. The website continues adhering to its innovative approaches, its western Armenian section being the latest manifestation of new ideas.

Currently, about 70% of our visitors are from Armenia, with only 30% being from countries abroad. Their major part is presumably our compatriots, including Diaspora representatives whose number is expected to increase in view of our new initiative. The Armenians worldwide have a great number of problems which are of common interest to all of us, and to resolve them it is necessary to unite all our efforts and potentials. Making our news available in Western Armenian will hopefully play a key role in that regard, raising Diaspora communities' awareness of the situation in Armenia.
