Armenia to monitor and evaluate its diplomatic missions abroad
The activities of the Armenian diplomatic missions and ambassadors accredited to foreign states will be hereafter planned, monitored and evaluated, National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan told a news conference on Wednesday.
"In 2011, Armenia will introduce the first ever system of planning, monitoring and evaluating the activities of its diplomatic missions and ambassadors. Under the president's decree, the Security Council will set up interagency groups vested with such functions," he said.
"Each diplomatic mission will work in accordance with a previously elaborated program suited to the given country's needs. Their activities will be monitored, evaluated and introduced in a due manner," Baghadasaryan added.
