Nalbandian qualifies for quarter final

In the second round of the international tournament held in Oakland, New Zealand, Argentinean tennis player of Armenian descent David Nalbandyan beat Germany's Petzschner 6-3, 6-2, qualifying for the quarter final.

In the tournament with a $355,000-prize fund, Nalbandyan will compete with the winner of Martin Cueavas (Uruguay) – John Isner match.
