Arthur Baghdasaryan denies reports on being appointed prosecutor general

Arthur Baghdasaryan, the chairman of the National Security Council and the leader of the Rule of Law Party, has called absurd the reports that he would be appointed prosecutor general that Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan would take over his office.

"Such information is groundless," he told a news conference on Wednesday.

"The dissemination of untrue information and gossip creates a negative atmosphere both in our society and political life," he said.
