Premier meets journalists in open and free environment
On the occasion of Christmas holidays, Armenian Prime Minster Tigran Sargsyan received Thursday media representatives in the government building.
At the beginning, the premier said the event was not subject to elucidation as its aim was to encourage an open and free communication among the participants.
Addressing those present, Sargsyan wished them a happy New Year and a lot of success, achievements and professional development in 2011.
He said 2010 had marked a significant progress for the electronic media, as the number of Internet users in the country had grown by 2.5 times.
The prime minister also asked media representatives to permanently keep spotlight of the government's priorities in 2011.
