EU approach to Karabakh conflict coincides with Armenia's policy - Edward Nalbandyan

The European Union's approach to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is consistent with Armenia's policy, says Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan .

Speaking at a news conference on Friday, he said European Council President Herman Van Rumpoy had clearly expressed the union's stance on the issue at the OSCE Summit in Astana

"On behalf of the European Union, Rumpoy expressed support to the principles and clauses proposed by the co-chairs. Such is the EU approach which coincides with our position," he told Tert.am, when asked to comment on EU Commission President Jose Manuel Baroso's recent statement on supporting the territorial integrity principle.
