Aronyan to compete with Carlsen

In the first round of the traditional chess tournament which kicks off on January 15 in Wijk aan Zee, Holland, Armenian GM Levon Aronyan will compete with FIDE top rating player Magnus Carlsen of Norway.

Aronyan will start the competitions playing with black figures, the Armenian sports website Armsport.am reported.
