A district court in Moscow ruled to impose a lien on Daev Plaza company owned by Russian State Duma member Ashot Yegiazaryan.
The company's shares and a sum of 1.5 billion Russian roubles have been confiscated, according to the official website of the Russian Federation's Investigative Committee.

On behalf of Cenurion Alliance company (which also belongs to Yeghiazaryan) the confiscated amount was transferred to PRECHARD HOLDINGS LIMITED in return for debt.

Earlier, the court imposed a lien on Europark Trade Complex and two land areas belonging to the MP.

Yeghiazaryan, who is accused of embezzling large sums, is currently in the United States with his family.

On November 3, the State Duma passed a decision to strip Yeghiazaryan off immunity. A criminal case under Section 4, Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (envisaging up to 10 years' imprisonment) was filed four days later.

Yeghiazaryan is currently on the InterPol's wanted list. His lawyers say he doesn't hide from the police but seeks a trial in the United States for security considerations.
