Soldier killed on contact line – Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army

The frontier subdivisions of the Azerbaijani army opened Thursday fire on the Armenian troops in the southern direction of the contact line.

The intensive gunshots released from the military positions located in the vicinity of Horadiz killed Armenian servicemen Hovik Sukiasyan.

The Defense Army's retaliatory operations suppressed the enemy which is reported to have suffered greater losses.

No further details are reported for now.

The situation on the Karabakh-Azerbaijani contact line has been tense since last year, with the enemy continuing to violate the ceasefire regime by launching attacks and acts of subversion.
