Azerbaijani leadership responsible for ceasefire violation
The Azerbaijani authorities are to blame for the violations of the ceasefire accord on the line of contact, says a statement issued by the spokesman of Armenian defense minister, David Karapetyan.
This comes after the January 20 intensive gunfire which killed an Armenian soldier, Hovik Sukiasyan.
"The Azerbaijani authorities are either unable to control their frontier troops or they intentionally provoke violence. In both cases, the burden of responsibility lies on them," says the statement.
The Defense Ministry also extends its condolences to the family of the deceased soldier.
