Artsakh attracts more tourists by every year

About 8,000 foreigners are reported to have visited the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR, artsakh) in 2010, which is 30% more than the previous year, the consular department of the NKR Foreign Ministry reported.

Apart from CIS countries' citizens, businessmen, political and cultural figures and sportsmen, the country also had visitors from EU member states, American continents, as well as Asia and Africa. Most foreigners visit Karabakh more than once, with the geography of tourists expanding every year.

Statistic data reveal that notwithstanding Azerbaijan's active counteraction world countries are becoming increasingly interested in Artsakh.
