Turkish journalist Adem Yavuz Arslan, the author of the book about Hrant Dink, the slain editor-in-chief of the Armenian-Turkish weekly Agos, has received an envelope with strange contents from unknown individuals.

As the Turkish news agency Cihan reported, the envelope contained three Kalashnikov cartridges and a baseball hat. The anti-terrorism department of the Turkish police conducted a search in Arslan's apartment.

The Turkish journalist expressed his indignation in this connection, saying that "Only God is entitled to take away the life he gives people.

An investigation has been launched into the matter.

It's noteworthy that at the time of assassinating Dink, Turkish nationalist Ogun Salmast was wearing a white baseball hat.

Arslan's book entitled "About an Armenian: Solving Hrant Dink's Murder", which discloses to the public details on the assassination of the Turkish Armenian-journalist, has been on sale in Turkey's book-stores for no more than ten days.

The Turkish media say that since writing the book Arslan has been repeatedly receiving death threats from unknown individuals.
On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Dink's murder, Arslan conducted an interview with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Responding to the journalists' comment on Turkish authorities' failure to take sufficient measures to solve the case, the Turkish premier said his government had done its utmost and now it is the courts' turn to function.
